Lucas Lavarello

Hello! I’m the Founder and CEO of Kulkan Security, an offensive security consulting firm specializing in penetration testing of applications and services across various industries. We work with Fortune-level companies worldwide, while building a strong team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality services.

My journey in Information Security began in the mid-90s, back when IRC was still widely used. I was fortunate to kick off my professional career early, landing my second full-time job at the age of 16 at a company called "Core." At the time, there were only a handful of offensive security firms in the world, and getting to work at Core that early was truly life-changing.

I’ve always been passionate about building things. Over the years, I’ve taken a few shots at starting businesses, but since mid-2016, my full focus has been on Kulkan. It’s the company I’ve poured my energy into, and it continues to drive my passion every day.

Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities and sports. I’m a people person and always open to new challenges.
